MANILA
We are doing a shoot with British-Filipina beauty queen Maggie Wilson today at T Lounge at the Traders Hotel Manila for Travelife Magazine, and she’s very pregnant. She’s crazy about seafood, lots of bread, Bali!
A must try: Pan de sal sandwich with adobo and kesong puti or Philippine white cheese at Casa Marcos
FORT BONIFACIO, METRO MANILA
Paella at Casa Marcos at Bonifacio Global City at the heart of Metro Manila. To-do-for fusion of Spanish and Filipino flavors. More dishes in a bit :p
MANILA BAY
Manila Bay view from Traders Hotel’s comforting T Lounge. Such a classic spot :D
PARIS (Somewhere in Montmartre)
PARIS (Somewhere in Montmartre)
Parisians are known to drive microcars to get around those cramped Paris streets. They are a sight to behold for someone who’s used to SUVs storming chaotic roads in Manila.

PARIS
Speaking of Avenue des Champs-Élysées, during my recent visit to the world’s most art directed city, I had the pleasure of spending a relaxed afternoon with French-Filipina model Gwennaelle Ruais at the Drugstore Publicis, the 21st century version of a French cafe. We walked around the spacious lifestyle complex that houses a cafe, one of the largest bookstores in Paris, and a patisserie/boulangerie with a jaw-dropping display of sweets and breads.
I had a moment in the pastry section. It was my first time to get a taste of macarons by iconic French baker brand Pierre Herme. My personal favorite: Bursts of white truffle and roasted hazelnuts from Piedmont. Gwennaelle, on the other hand, is crazy about the salted butter caramel. Another orgasmic experience in the city of drama.

Twelve days in the City of Light. I guess no amount of time is enough for Paris, especially if you’re trying to figure out why Parisiens have so much passion about their city.
My mind is stuck somewhere on Champs Elysees.
